The MRR (Modular Railed Rifle) of Colt Canada is a highly regarded firearm known for its exceptional modularity and versatility.
The MRR is equipped with a versatile railed handguard system that enables operators to easily attach a wide range of accessories, optics, and grips, catering to the specific requirements of diverse missions and individual preferences. This adaptable feature empowers users to customize their MRR precisely to their mission purposes, ensuring optimal functionality and enhancing operational effectiveness in various scenarios.
The MRR combines the battle proven Colt Canada C8 Carbine core with a Magpul M-LOK Rail Attachment System. The upper receiver has a monolithic side and bottom rail positions now implementing the Magpul M-LOK modular locking accessory mounting system. The monolithic upper receiver gives you ample rail space for night vision and thermal optics to be mounted forward of the day optics.

By incorporating the M-LOK system, the operator gains the flexibility to attach only the necessary rails and accessories specific to each mission, resulting in a significant reduction in weight carried. This innovative system has successfully reduced the overall weight of the weapon by up to half a pound, with the majority of weight savings achieved in the forestock region. As a result, the M-LOK system greatly enhances the maneuverability of the weapon and optimizes its weight distribution, leading to improved handling and operational effectiveness.

The MRR is available in four different barrel lengths: 11.6, 14.5, 15.7, and 18 inches. It is semi-automatic and has a manual thumb fire control selector. With a weight of around 6.6 lbs/3.0 kg (weapon only), it is a really light rifle. Whether utilized by military personnel, law enforcement agencies, or civilian shooters, the Colt Canada MRR stands as a reliable and adaptable firearm, well-suited for diverse operational environments and demanding scenarios.
