The LVS includes Crye Precision’s patented Skeletal Cummerbund, 4 built-in mag/radio pouches, heavy-duty aluminum shoulder hardware, chest rig attachment loops on the front, pack attachment loops on the back, and it is compatible with any AVS front flap. On the front and back is an Ample VELCRO brand loop for agency ID patches.
Additional side and abdomen armor panels are available to add even more coverage. The LVS 6×9 Tactical Soft Armor Pouch Set that allows the user to carry a 6”x9” soft armor panel. For additional side protection it is possible to mount the LVS Tactical Soft Armor Pouch Set to the interior or exterior of the cummerbund. They can be mounted on practically any vest that uses any MOLLE compatible attachment system. The LVS 6X9 Tactical Side Carrier pouches allow the user to carry a 6”x 9” soft armor panel and a 6”x 6” side plate.
When the LVS 6×6 Side Panel Set is added to a vest, this will add 6 more inches of ballistic coverage to each side of the LVS vest. The LVS 6×9 Side Panel Set adds 9 more inches of ballistic coverage to the side of the LVS vest.
The LVS Covert Cover offers a range of color options for your LVS Base Vest. Not only does it provide easy laundering capabilities, but it also offers the unique feature of accommodating rifle plates while maintaining a low profile. To ensure optimal stability and adjustability for plate integration, incorporating the LVS Plate Holder within the cover is highly recommended. The LVS Plate Holder can be integrated inside any of the LVS Covers or worn alone as a minimal plate carrier. The Plate Holder lets you adjust the ride height of rifle plates and it helps stabilize them. It can be best paired with concealable plates no thicker than ¾”.
