Its CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum body can stand up to plenty of abuse, and SureFire coats every XSC body with MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 hard anodizing for scratch and corrosion resistance. Several seals guarantee waterproof and weatherproof shielding; the XSC holds an IPX4 rating, making it resistant to water splashes from any direction.
