Tactical Electronics is an American company focused on creating advanced tactical surveillance gear and EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) tools. They serve military, law enforcement, and government entities globally, offering innovative solutions for intelligence collection, bomb disposal, and reconnaissance tasks.
Tactical Electronics offers a diverse range of products, often used in high-stakes tactical and combat scenarios. One of their surveillance tools is the Through Wall Camera (TWC) which provides operators with real-time visual intelligence in environments where direct line-of-sight is impossible. Their recent product, the Through Wall Light (TWL), is a high-powered IR light probe designed to enhance the Through Wall Camera (TWC) in covert missions.
THROUGH WALL CAMERA (TWC)
The TWC is a surveillance tool that allows operators to visually monitor activity on the other side of a wall or obstacle in real-time. The TWC is ideal for tactical situations and can be inserted under door gaps or narrow wall openings.
Equipped with a Wall Punch, Clearing Drill, and 2mm stainless steel camera probe, the TWC offers versatile viewing options in various environments. Choose between an 8-inch model for residential use or a 17-inch version for commercial structures.
The TWC tools are engineered to create a discreet 2mm hole through two layers of drywall, allowing covert access to adjacent rooms. You start by embedding the Wall Punch into the drywall, then use the Clearing Drill to bore a hole through the wall into the neighboring space. Once the hole is made, you remove the Clearing Drill and insert the Camera Probe, which magnetically attaches to the Wall Punch, enabling you to discreetly capture a wide-angle view of the room.
The optional 1.0-inch AMOLED eyepiece provides immediate visual access without extra monitors while real-time video streaming enhances operational efficiency via internal WiFi radio or by a hardwired connection to the Tactical Accessory Port (TAP) on the TWC. The videos can also be viewed on any Tactical Electronics Monitor, on an Android device via the TE View app or ATAK.
THROUGH WALL LIGHT (TWL)
The Through Wall Light (TWL) is a powerful infrared probe that enhances the functionality of the Through Wall Camera (TWC) for covert operations.
Designed for law enforcement and military applications, it allows users to light up dark spaces without detection, ensuring stealth during surveillance or tactical maneuvers. A precise 3mm probe lets operators insert a 940nm infrared LED emitter through walls or small openings effortlessly.
The TWL comes in 7.5-inch and 17-inch options, perfect for residential or commercial use. You can easily adjust the LED brightness with a handy knob that includes an on/off switch. It is powered by two CR123 batteries to ensure dependable hands-free lighting during long tasks. Plus, it features a Wall Punch and Clearing Drill set to create discreet 4mm holes in drywall for stealthy illumination.
In short, the TWL focuses on illuminating areas through walls to assist operators in seeing what is behind the barrier, but it does not provide visual surveillance capabilities. The TWC, on the other hand, actively captures images or video through walls, offering real-time intelligence.
