The Special Operations Tactical Respirator (SOTR) half mask and Lite version, intended for land (not air) applications, are designed to provide protection against a wide range of oil-based and non-oil based particulate contaminants. The SOTR is a low profile respirator offering 99.97% filtration efficiency against airborne particles including lead, asbestos, lubricant mist, explosions, etc. Its user-centered design emphasizes safety and comfort, with dual exhalation valves for easy breathing and a flexible, lightweight silicone facepiece designed to fit a variety of face types.

The Special Operations Tactical Respirator allows for quick, one-handed filter changes to keep pace with the fastest missions, and has a center-mounted filter for better interface with the weapon. The SOTR is suitable for many applications, including sensitive site operations, breaching, vehicle operations, helicopter operations and live fire ranges. The SOTR can be worn with Ops-Core helmets and tactical helmet accessories (such as night vision goggles and eye protection) for a complete, lightweight head protection system. The SOTR Lite is not compatible with helmets. It comes with a filter and a single head harness, with no communication capabilities. The Ops-Core SOTR is not intended for medical use.
The respirator provides at least 99.97% filtration efficiency against airborne particles including lead, asbestos, lubricant mist and explosive residue.

Available in non-microphone and microphone configurations, and is compatible with standard land-based communication headsets to allow for radio communications, supplied with two filters.

Single filter and head harness, no communication capabilities.
